How close are we to closing the global gender gap?
According to a 2018 report from the World Economic Forum, in areas of political empowerment, and economic participation and opportunity, the gap is only closed 22% and 59% respectively.
So while women are increasingly educated and healthy, they are rarely included in the decision making that effects them.
