On the streets of Amsterdam found a variety of what I though was red tomatillo I have never seen before. But it is actually a relative of the golden berries I am growing back home. These beauty’s are called winter cherry or Chinese lantern. It’s actually a little berry inside that pretty red lantern. It’s super cool how in a concrete jungle like Amsterdam the plants still find a way to thrive.
