⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ via Neisha Himes: Today’s #TBT is brought to you by way of a 911 call made on 9/21/91 by a then 6 year old girl named Lisa Floyd. The first time I heard this call was in a domestic violence training course and it made several people cry, myself included. I just listened again and couldn’t help but think of the children that I would see in court who have probably made calls just like this one. The same children who, statistically, are likely to become a victim or abuser themselves. When you listen to this... right at the moment when you decide that you can’t stomach anymore and need to turn it off...just think about how many children can’t. Then do something about it.
