Perched on a rock overlooking the Ecaz Valley, this fairytale castle is still home to descendants of the Duke of Urach!
The family open their home to visitors for a small fee and so naturally we took a tour around this beautiful castle.

I don’t usually remove things but there’s an ugly wire chain link fence (ugly but essential to stop people falling over the cliff 🤓) between where I’m standing and the castle so I removed it for this pic. A pretty wooden or stone fence would have fit the aesthetic here much better.
The chain link just looks out of place here.
