Favorite Quote: “Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.” -Pat Conroy, The Prince of Tides
Favorite Childhood Memory: The Family meals. I grew up enjoying food cooked from scratch. It was a time when everyone came home for lunch and the family had time for interactive conversation without any cell phone close by. I still remember that Wednesdays were for beans, Thursdays for Pasta and traditional food for Brunch Saturdays and Sundays.
What do you like most about Alabama: I love the food and the outdoor activities.
What do you love about the South: The Family tradition. They are the same as the ones I grew up with in South America.
Favorite place in Alabama: Birmingham. Fairhope is a lovely town but I can't live in a city smaller than Birmingham. With family all over the world, I really need a good airport close to my home.
Your Mentor: Definitely my mom.
What do you wish you could tell your 20 year old self: Don’t be afraid to say “No” when necessary. #womenofalabama #sweethomealabama
