Have you ever heard of the big crunch, or the big bounce? The idea is that the universe will eventually collapse on itself in a reversal of the big bang. This would result in all matter and energy recondensing into a single point. Hypothetically,like a blooming flower, or a lung breathing in and out the universe works in cycles.. (I guess now they’re learning that the universe is expanding faster and faster so maybe this isn’t the case. But I think it would be a pretty cool ;)
