Day one at the TACA Conference #tacaconference2019 was AMAZING!! Learned so much from amazing doctors @zachbushmd and was inspired by an amazing young man who has not let ASD define him or dictate his future dreams!! Coby Bird @thecobybird shared his struggles in school and connecting with peers but was able to find a program that allowed to be himself and flourish in performing arts!! He graduated from High School last year with his diploma!! He has been pursuing his acting career where he’s had a couple roles as character on the spectrum in the show @speechlessabc and @thegooddoctorabc. His latest goal is to earn a role as a character who is not on the spectrum!! After hearing how far he has come I have no doubt he will earn many roles in the future!! It was fun sharing this with Audric #teamaudric and telling him that no matter how hard it is he can still pursue his dreams!!! #hope #dream #workhard #inspire
