The Haweswater nature reserve is home to one of the most peaceful places I've had the pleasure to stay, the Haweswater Hotel. On this year's trip to the UK, we were soaked by rain nearly the entire time, but, mercifully, our three days in the Lakes were beautiful, especially this morning, when the water so was so still it could double as a mirror.
