A little background about the painting.
Gond art is a living impression of the Gond tribals – one of the largest tribes in India, predominantly from the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
The theme of paintings is drawn from nature, folktales and Gond mythology. Their paintings reflects man’s close connection with his natural surroundings.
The exhibition is on all weekend at Kensington Town Hall, W8 7NX.
