Yes, some love that didn’t know how to love failed us, but the real genuine love which you and I have for ourselves can never leave us.
It might for a brief moment, due to our insecurities and the painful experience that hurtful love left behind, but our wandering love for ourselves surely finds its way home to our hearts.
