Packing the van with everything that we need for this journey was probably the hardest part of the past few months! It's difficult to downsize your life to fit in an 18 x 6-foot space espeically when you have to pack for all types of weather and situations.
We're excited to see our thoughts on this in a year or so and how much less we probably will actually NEED. You quickly discover what you can live without. For example, when we left LA, I realized we had over 15 bath towels just for the two of us. WHY?! Vanlife is not only a chance for adventure but a lesson in simplifying, downsizing, and experiencing without strings attached.
