Our 20/20 Vision Retreat in Peru is in 90 days!! We are counting down the days until we get to share space with women who are committed to pursuing freedom for themselves and others. BUT the reality is that ambition and commitment to service are not necessarily correlated with financial liberty.
So we've started a scholarship fund. So far we've raised $555. Thank you to every single contributor and special thank you to @iamrachelricketts for featuring our work in her September #Reparations Roundup. We still have more ground to cover and your contribution to our growing scholarship fund will help us to bridge the gap by offering partial scholarships, making this experience accessible for people like:
- Dayna, a medical student putting herself through school increasing representation in medicine, - Kristin, an art educator who centers the healing, identity, and belonging of black women, - Shantel, a journalist who amplifies the stories of marginalized people in Australia, - and many other women who are working to claim the freedom they deserve while removing obstacles to freedom for those around them.
Women of color exercising their liberties in each area of a F.I.E.R.C.E. life is, in and of itself, a practice of activism. Any contribution toward our scholarship fund helps to support these women live and create a more equitable life.
