At the end, this is a feed reflecting my travel experiences... so if from time to time a photo slips in that is less than perfect, forgive me... it is the memory of the experience that counts for me. Snorkeling in the Galapagos definitely was an experience I will never forget. The seals, the huge schools of fish, the encounters with turtles, sharks and rays. Imagine swimming for several minutes next to a flotilla of eagle rays, the nearest just 2-3 metres away, and then seeing a big shark appear out of the murk below. Followed by dozens more, but that is another photo...
