MIXING TIP: TRY MIXING IN MONO. I use an Avantone Cube for this which is good for testing my mixes in mono. Of course, stereo is critical as the majority of people listen to music on headphones these days, but try to switching to mono for a bit and it might give you that extra challenge to achieve an even greater mix as you battle to make all the instruments stand out with space and clarity.
