Here's a little story I've told many times since I first made this sign. My BFF asked me to make a few if these for her for gifts. As I'm painting the first one, my husband walks in and says "omg what is that? That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. No one I going to buy that." I didn't know how they'd go over, but I brought 10 of them to a small craft show I was exhibiting at that weekend to test them out. Everyone laughed when they saw it and the 10 signs were gone within the first 2 hours of the 6 hour show. I made sure to tell everyone that bought one what my husband said that first night 😂 This past month, this was my best seller by far, followed by the glitter trees and our deer bottle openers close behind. What did I learn from this? Humor wins. Laughter wins. My husband is slowly coming around to liking this sign now too. ..
