Came across this gem π this morning and wanted to share it along with my thoughts. I used to ignore my pain, I would distract myself and try to ignore it or if I did give it attention I saw it as the world was punishing me. I felt like a victim within my own mind. Over the years I began using the power of reframing to see pain and experiences that hurt me in a totally new way. Now I see them as lessons and blessings the universe has provided me with. Educational experiences. It can be scary to dissect what has hurt us BUT, it can also be TRANSFORMATIONAL. Itβs all about the lens we are choosing to view the situation from. When I sense pain, an alarm goes off in my mind to pay attention, no longer will I ignore, because I know there is something to be learned so I canβt decrease the chances of it reoccuring. Often these can be some of the most powerful lessons we learn. Next time you are experiencing pain, embrace it, feel it, accept it, dissect it, and REFRAME IT.
