On this day, January 21, 1981 the DMC DeLorean sports car began production in Northern Ireland. One of the around 9000 cars produced there made its way to the Venice International Film Festival on September 8, 2018, for the red carpet world premiere of Nick Hamm’s film ‘Driven’. The car was on loan from a museum in Milan.
