Before the Orange County Fair Speedway, there was the “Harry Clay Oval.” Harry Clay was a famous race horse of his day. He didn’t live to see his namesake transition into an automobile racing track in 1919 but Harry’s final resting place remains the Orange County Fairgrounds and his headstone can be seen at the speedway to this day.
