The opening race of OCFS’ first fully contested Stock Car Championship season began on April 16th, 1950 and was won by the no. 407 Coupe. Fans may recognize the driver of the 407, Tex Enright, who would go on to be OCFS’ legendary on-track flagger, risking life and limb flagging from the track’s front-stretch.
