After coaching a client today about this topic, I reflected on it for myself. SO MUCH of what’s next in my business is out of my control. I can hustle hustle hustle, but until I get that next client booked, there’s a level of uncertainty. Can you relate?

In the dance world, so much is uncertain. Scholarships, awards, performances, auditions. YES you can work your booty off and set yourself up for success. But in the end, it’s usually not your decision.
.
So remember these truths, even with ALL that uncertainty...You are imperfect and you are enough. You are not defined by the awards and scholarships you get. Your worth isn’t dependent on which company you’re in or which gig you book. You are worthy of love and belonging exactly as you are.

Take some time today to remember that. Then take the next best step to move you in the direction you want to go. For me today that meant slowing down, giving myself some grace, and doing some coaching continuing education to feel inspired.
