Finally finishing up the inks for Creature Features tonight. I love this game, but we’ve been playtesting it/working on it for two years and I’m ready to move on. I still have to go in and color everything and then chop them up and add the graphic design elements, but it’s been an interesting challenge.
Creature Features is a filler card game where you are building a monster by playing cards, stealing parts from your fellow fiends and then throwing the switch to bring them to life. Which meant every character had to fit the very specific and weird proportions dictated by the card layout. (Each Creature is split across 9 cards) A much more challenging and frustrating thing than I expected.
This is the art for the base game and its sister game, Creature Features In Space. (I still have to finish one of the aliens, so that space is filled with the CF icon)
