FOCUS: THE DECIDING HAND OF THE LORD.
TEXT: And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel-1 Kings 18:46 KJV
The world says that life is the "survival of the fittest" but with our God life becomes the "triumph of faith" (1Jn 5:4). It is never about how far you've gone but it's more of how well you're doing the distance between you and others notwithstanding. "So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy-Rom 9:16. In the days of old, chariots were exclusive right of the rich and mighty, they were to them what Teslas and Lykans cars are to us today, so fast and pacy aided by the energetic strength of horses.
But here we see an ordinary man like you and me who overtook the fastest car in his time. What made the difference? "And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah- 1Kings 18:46. Others may trust in their horses and Chariots like Ahab but every race is decided by the Hand of the Lord therefore, do all you can to secure His Hand on your life, that's what guarantees a glorious future. May His Hand rest on you this day in Jesus name.
