Wolfgang Volz, born #onthisday in 1948, has been the exclusive photographer for Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s work since 1971. Since then, he has documented all their projects and the process behind them, including the Surrounded Islands, The Gates, and The Floating Piers. All of the photographs featured in our #SurroundedIslands exhibition are his work.
