There are many types of cakes: bundt cake, chiffon cake, birthday cake, etc. When I first heard of “drip cake,” it was while watching a cake challenge episode on the FoodNetwork. Drip? I was confused. I was glued to the tv watching the contestants to learn of this cake. Well come to find out, it’s an ordinary cake decorated with a dripping design. Of course... I have had it before. As you can see in this photo, chocolate ganache drips from the top & down the side of the cake. Give me that drip drip.
