I've gotten asked a few times what the conditions were like for the dogs. Some people were concerned about this being abusive and the dogs were forced to run. As I was told by those who are familiar, I'd also like to echo the sentiment: You have to meet the dogs.
There's nothing more than these dogs want to do than run. It's astonishing how excited they get when they realize that "today's adventure day". Unlike most house pets, they're some of the healthiest and happiest dogs I have met. Also unlike house pets, they're not seditary in their lifestyle as they get far more physical exercise and mental stimulation.
The staff at White Wilderness care deeply for each of their dogs and treat them extraordinarily well. I'm beyond happy I met such a phenomenal group of people and the lovely dogs who live to run.
