Hey what’s up this is my half @$$ smile I do sometimes🖖🏼 ONE THING NO ONE TOLD ME <br />Before I made the decision to start living a healthy lifestyle.... You see all of these fitness Instagrammers who show their workouts on their stories, or on their actual page. <br />And then you feel guilty for not feeling motivated, even though you have made decent progress and are doing great.<br /><br />The guilt that comes along with not working out is normal, but I don't think it should be. And I think it needs to be talked about way more than it is. <br />There is a big difference between being lazy and being unmotivated.<br /><br />Being lazy is more like... You planned to start a workout routine, a healthier diet and cut out soda in the new year, but it never happened after the first week went by.<br /><br />A loss of motivation is more like... You STARTED your new workout routine, you started eating healthier, you’re actually trying but now you’re tired and you’re getting burnt out. <br />what I wish I would have known at the beginning of my fitness journey is that along with a lot of things in life, it can't always be perfect. <br />You can't always work out 6 days a week, eat chicken and broccoli for a meal and not get bored. Life throws things at you that you cannot avoid sometimes. So maybe you have to take more rest days or not go to the gym at all for awhile due to health issues.. AND this is THE MOST IMPORTANT part you need to understand:<br /><br />Getting DERAILED And going off track for awhile or not eating healthy or giving up on your goals IS part of your fitness journey!<br /><br />You’re not going to always be perfect or sometimes not even close!! And then you feel guilty for not feeling motivated, even though you have made decent progress and are doing great.

The guilt that comes along with not working out is normal, but I don't think it should be. And I think it needs to be talked about way more than it is.
There is a big difference between being lazy and being unmotivated.
