Our Religious School students learned about Tu B'Shevat yesterday.
From our School Director, Barbara Schneider: With the holiday of Tu B'Shevat coming up on January 21, we had the chance to taste fruits to connect us with the holiday.
A lesson on Israel, how the wilderness was tamed and how it was made to bloom, was the subject of the day. Favorite prayers and songs ended our session. Students highlighted what they are most grateful for,: clothes, strength, food and shelter.
