This is the urn I made for Assys, my Bernese Mountaindog. She died last december 28th, at the age of 9.
I wanted to make an urn fitting to her appearence and character. I searched for plants were we used to make our walks. Back in the studio I used them to make imprints in the clay.
On the inside there is a smaller sized sphere that contains the ashes. On top of it, the small lid has a particular shape so that it can hold a tealight candle. The light shines through the top opening and also through the ones on the side and gives us the warm feeling that she is still around.
