Today is Arbor Day and we are lucky to be located in beautiful Balboa Park home of thousands of trees. Kate sessions made it her goal to plant 100 trees every year in exchange for 32 acres of land to be used as a plant nursery. In 1935 she was named "The Mother of Balboa Park". Many of her trees can still be found in Balboa Park today. We are proud to be a part of the one park, one team.
