This 1986 Ford Merkur XR4TI is a rally race car. Rally racing (also known as Rallye and Motorsport) is popular in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and in Latin America. Races take place on public streets with the route kept secret from participants prior to the start. These races are more complex and challenging due to their environments and are great tests of a driver’s racing abilities.
Never seen a rally race car before? This one is currently on exhibit in our museum. We are open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm, and last admission is at 4:30pm.
