This fault line in Box Canyon is the weak point that became the source of the cave I was standing in, and can be seen directly across the canyon. When water carves a canyon, it follows the path of least resistance, which is often along existing fault lines. Just as water shapes weakened landscapes through its strength, we are shaped when we use our strength to work on our own weaknesses.
