Thank you for telling me that my kids are beautiful.<br />•<br />But please, please, please...stop telling me “don’t worry, it gets easier, you only have them for 18yrs.”<br />•<br />Some disabilities are unseen. The sweetest part of Milly is how hard she works for this simple “Mmmm” for “Mama” - but the hardest part is that her special needs can still be masked in the pools of young toddlers. When she is 12 and maybe still non verbal or screaming as we transition to the next place to go or activity to do, will you still say it gets easier? Probably not as you can’t even imagine the shoes we’ve walked in to just get that “Mmmm.”<br />•<br />Thank you friends - in person and in my insta blog sharing world - who show up and celebrate Milly for Milly.
