ancient myth will tell you
how to slay
current culture will tell you
how to train
b u t
what if dragons can tell us
how to behave
s e e
deeper than mythology
is the human tendency
to subdue a threat
in order to protect
b u t
what if our perception
of a threat is incorrect
m a y b e
we slay and train
because we're afraid
of our own strength
we feel threatened
by fire-breathing life
because it exposes
what would remain
🔥
a dragon slayer
wants to be brave
but their claim is
to kill and destroy
a n d
a dragon trainer
wants to tame
but their tactic is
to rewire the brain
y e t
at the end of the day
our strength
is the same
we try to protect
what we treasure
but see
if you dare to enter
a dragons lair
you will discover how
to guard treasure and
protect all you cherish
but maybe
we feel threatened by
dragons
because our treasure
is our own strength
we don't want to
relinquish control
so we guard superiority
over a kingdom priority
