💕ðŸ’✨🧠✨ðŸ’💕
do you believe
you are a victim of your biology
or an agent
ðŸ’
here is some catalytic thinking:
where your attention goes
there is neural firing
new connections forming
neural pathways evolving
this is the science of thought
but what if i told you
your mind can change your brain
would your thinking change
✨
maybe your mindset
is growth or fixed
maybe your thoughts
are positive or negative
but did you know
you can train your brain
ðŸ§
here is the plastic paradox:
neuroplasticity has the power
to produce more flexibility but
also more rigidity in behaviour
✨
plasticity is the property in the
brain that enables you to change;
as you respond to stimuli
and learn to perceive
you start reshaping existing
structures and function
ðŸ’
just beware, for where
your attention goes
addiction may follow
ðŸ§
your mindset may reframe or
your mind may set your ways;
but ultimately
you can choose how to behave
ðŸ’
sometimes,
belief and behaviour collide
othertimes,
you need to renew your mind
why?
because different parts
of your brain
control specific aspects
of your behaviour
and
because your mind can
change your brain
in turn, it can change
how you behave
✨
for as the science says,
neurons that fire together,
wire together
so from one change agent
to another:
what are you allowing to
fire and wire in you
and how are you actively
rewiring your brain

for further research, don't go to www
but to scientific journals and articles
on neuroplasticity and neuroscience
and if you're as intrigued as me, read:
💡
1. "the brain that changes itself"
by norman doidge (youtube his brain
and neuroplasticity talk for summary)
📖
2. "who switched off my brain"
by dr. caroline leaf (also youtube her
interview with stephen furtick for an
interweaving of scripture and science)
ðŸ’
speaking of switching off the brain i
think it's time for me to go to sleep
