It's raining travel, hallelujah! ☂️ When it rains, it pours. And before long you're a soggy mess running for cover like "look I know I love the rain but honestly I'd really just like to be dry for like maybe a WEEK and then I'll be super ready for rain again I swear!"

I'm not great at metaphors. What I'm trying to say is: I've been traveling almost non-stop since mid-May, and while I feel very hashtag blessed🙏, I am also TI. RED.

I know there are people who THRIVE off this kinda life, and many more who dream of it. Heck, I used to dream of it too, way back when I was a young whippersnapper working a desk job. Weekdays were way too long and weekends were never long enough, even though I crammed them full of adventure and exploration.

And then we finally took off on a full YEAR of full-time travel and ... I realized full-time travel actually isn't my style. Like, at all. I checked that dream right off my bucket list and then turned around and signed a lease. They both felt equally as exciting.

One of my favorite things about travel is how much it makes me appreciate what I have back at home. There's no better feeling than walking into my own home after a long trip... except maybe leaving for the trip in the first place 🤣 Of course, after a few weeks at home, I'll be itching to go on another adventure. But right now? I'm missing my couch REAL BAD, y'all. Just one more week until we're reunited 😭
