The 1959 line of GM vehicles were radically different from those of the previous year. Heavy, curved, and rounded models gave way to the long and lean "delta" styling.  It was also the beginning of the LeSabre, Electra, and Invicta for Buick. New automotive designs usually took 3 years to implement and these only took 2 years. The dramatic change was a shock to the public and even though the looks were bold, sales were not stellar. 1959 Buicks are now known as one of the more dynamic designs of the late 50's.<br /><br />Come see this 1959 Buick Invicta currently on display in our Vision vs Reality in our museum.
