A Porsche Cayenne came in of recent. Turns out there was an intermix of engine coolant with engine oil in the engine oil cooler.
We had to flush out the coolant system and eventually replace the engine oil cooler.
1. In the first image the faulty engine oil cooler can be seen in the pan. We removed it and flushed the radiator and cooling system.
2. The second image is an image of an engine oil cooler.
3. In the third image, we had replaced the engine oil cooler for the Porsche Cayenne with a new one and were filling the radiator and cooling system.
N/B: Your car's engine and automatic transmission use a radiator coolant to help prevent overheating when your engine is running. This is achieved with the aid of a number of coolers, hoses and lines connected to the radiator or the engine. Gaskets and Seals prevent the coolant from
entering into internal parts of the engine, as the coolant moves
through the engine.
When the engine is not running and the cooling system is pressurized,
coolant can be forced out of the cooling system into the oil pan. High
oil pan levels can harm the engine by causing windage in the crankcase
which can cause unneccesarry strain to your engine.
Any of these symptoms will require flushes of both the cooling system
