My shirt says it all...the struggle is real. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. To be honest though I don’t think it was ever really about my weight at all. It was about learning how to take care of myself. I’m naturally a care giver, helper, or problem fixer. My chosen career is a nurse. 🤷🏻♀️ I have spent my life helping others, because I never wanted to face my sadness, childhood issues, & failings in life. So I wanted to focus on others. Don’t get me wrong I get true fulfillment out of helping people & loving people others would turn their backs on & judge. I’ve done a lot of self reflection for years. I realized I’m a priority as well. It only took 32 yrs. lol (I’m stubborn) I’ve realized I can’t save everyone else & kill myself doing it. I have learned it’s ok to protect yourself, take care of yourself, & let go of people that don’t support you. I must thrive before I can truly support others. So please know taking care of yourself is so very important!! Love yourself at any size. Find your peace, happiness, & fulfillment within. 🔥
