The only times in life that I can’t follow-through on my goals is when I’m overwhelmed or underwhelmed, and I’m guessing the same goes for you.⁣<br />⁣<br />You’re either completely stressed out and have way too much to do on your plate that even thinking about health goals is beyond comprehension…⁣<br />⁣<br />Or you’re kind of lethargic, tired, and can’t imagine getting up from the bed or couch to do anything at all.⁣<br />⁣<br />Either way, this isn’t the life you want to be living.⁣<br />⁣<br />You’d much rather move from one project to the next feeling whole and complete. Here are some of my favorite lines to get me through these moments.⁣<br />⁣<br />🌊 “Something is better than nothing.” Getting half of a job done is way better than getting none of the job done. So don’t be scared to start something that you know won’t get done today. At the same time…⁣<br />⁣<br />🌊“Done is better than perfect.” Don’t waste time perfecting a job if it takes more time than it’s worth. If the project needs to be done, but it doesn’t need to be perfect, then FINISH. Don’t procrastinate because you want all the pieces to fit perfectly.⁣<br />⁣<br />🌊“Don’t put off for tomorrow what you have the energy for today. Don’t do today what you don’t have the energy for.” Essentially, listen to your body. Don’t push yourself too hard. Encourage yourself just enough to reach your limits that will make you proud, not frustrated and defeated.⁣<br />⁣<br />A lot of you are celebrating today or avoiding celebration.
