This came up in my Facebook memories today; three years ago, but it feels like much longer. One of the happiest times in my life (seriously!). Almost brings tears to my eyes now and I’m sure I cried back then. Happy tears.
Teen always rolls her eyes at me getting emotional and she’ll probably not be impressed at me posting this but I say any photos from primary school are fair game for parents to post. Especially when they represent a proud moment.

This was our eldest playing the part of Simba in her end of primary school year 6 play. I think she would agree that she isn’t all that confident at life generally but once she gets on a stage, she shines and sparkles. I’ve loved watching every performance she’s done and hope there will be many more.

The other two photos are Sports Day, also three years ago. It was the last sports day for Sasha; one which she took part in a little bit thanks to the amazing TA she had at the time. The stress of competing and losing has always been a huge challenge for Sasha and it was a miracle she took part at all. Sports Days are an event which I’m not sorry she or I are missing any more...
