On my zero day in Stehekin I did laundry, took a shower, got my resupply box at the post office, and then mailed two pounds of obsolete gear and clothing home. After that I took the town bus two miles to the famous bakery here and had a recommended cinnamon roll. I balanced it off with a home grown salad and a Diet Pepsi. Then I walked back the two miles. Taking photos with my phone to share this quaint isolated place. Off the grid tomorrow morning as I head back into the Cascades for a week.
