Monkey see, Monkey do!
This week has been a huge reminder that Noah is listening and watching me. He has been using the language I use with me, which I love. He has been imitating my husband and me more and more.
Let me share some ways Noah has been reminding me: •Yesterday, as I hurried Noah out of the house. He responded with, “Hold on. Wait patiently.” •One morning he said that he needed to do his exercise for the day and asked for the yoga video to put on. •The other day Noah was sitting next to me as I worked, and I became frustrated with an email. Noah told me, “Mommy don’t get frustrated. Calm down and take a deep breath.” Our children are watching our every move. They are learning and imitating our behaviors and habit. A friendly reminder to pay attention to what you say around your children but more importantly be conscious to what you do.
