With the passing of Mothers Day 🌺 yesterday, it was a little difficult for me to celebrate at first.

I have been a mother for 10 years and have never really realized some issues my daughter and I were having (more on my end 😩)

More recently it has been brought to my attention ‼️ that I didn’t show enough affection ❤️

The only reason for this was because I didn’t know how 🤷🏾♀️ Showing affection❤️ has been a challenge for me for YEARS and my friends helped me to see that this mountain 🏔 was present and affecting everything and everyone around me, especially my daughter 💗😭

Once this was brought to my attention, I had 1 of 2 decisions to make:
-
1. Stay in my ways and keep ultimately neglecting my daughter of what she needs
2. Get out of myself (no matter how uncomfortable it can be at times) and give her what she needs in order for us to have the thriving relationship I’ve always dreamed of 💗

Happy to say that I chose # 2 and I’ve been seeing things change constantly ever since putting myself on the back burner and being what she needs me to be to her 👩👧

The decision was easy but the actions behind my decision have taken (and are still taking) time⏱ but I’m willing to CONQUER THIS MOUNTAIN 🏔 in order to see greater in my relationships, and ultimately my life 🌄
