It’s Maker Monday! Each Monday this summer I want to bring you quick, easy ideas for something to do, show you what we’re working on at White Water Crafting, or tips and tricks to make your crafting easier. <br /><br />Looks like it’s shaping up for another dreary week so let’s start with something that’s fun indoors or out - googly eyes! Adding googly eyes to everyday objects is so fun and makes you see things in a different way! <br /><br />You can work together, or create some googly eyed characters around the house and have others find them. Going for a walk between rain showers? Take some eyes with you! You’ll be amazed how many everyday things benefit from a pair of eyes! <br /><br />I used sticky tack or tape to stick our eyes (except the electrical socket one - I stuck the eyes to a long piece of tape and put that across. I don’t recommend sticky tack directly into the socket!) <br /><br />No googly eyes? No problem! Draw a pair on some paper and cut them out! <br /><br />Did you know there’s actually an official term for this? It’s called Eyebombing - look it up and you’ll get tons of inspiration and more than a few giggles. Watch our stories as we share more of our creations during the day!
