There are no confirmations of success using such efforts whatsoever, as well as any official academic approval. However, there are talks of very frequent secret practices in the academic communities.
There are specially designed rooms, in specially designed buildings for such experimentations.
There are also specially designed methods for creating confusion and making such efforts more difficult.
Sometimes even I cannot believe this stuff.
