Teddy is a handsome 10-year-old Pekingese. This little dog has overcome some big hurdles on his way to a forever home. He was found wandering the streets as a stray in the summer heat. He was brought to the @azhumane after a good samaritan spotted him and noticed he was bleeding from his mouth. Once he was in AHS' care, he was treated in the Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital where doctors discovered he was suffering from several rotten teeth as well as kennel cough. After the medical team removed the teeth that were causing him pain, Teddy was placed in a foster home where he could rest and recover. Now, he's all healed up and ready for a home of his own! Teddy is very sweet and loving, and he would thrive with a family who will give him lots of love and attention. He loves to curl up in laps and enjoy scratches behind his ears.
