Piper and Hilde tried their first @ukchuntingops SHED trial this weekend! I've been training it on my own with Piper for a few years now, but I've never been to a trial or any seminars so it was fairly new for me to see how these trials work! Initially, I planned on just running Piper, because 3 months ago Hilde didn't even have a hold. Then things clicked for her and a formal retrieve came together. She was having a lot of fun practising so I decided to enter her too and see how it went. Both girls passed both runs, and Hilde even beat Piper for time both days. Today Hilde found her 4 antlers in just 6 minutes and 11 seconds. Not bad for her first Shed trial! The first of many I'm sure. Both girls had a blast, despite working through some cold and wet conditions today.
