~ Here we are at the final day of this challenge, & what a fun one it has been! Thank you to both of our amazing hosts for creating such a wonderful challenge once again! I changed it up for this final day as I haven't shared an actual reading at all for this one. As 20 relates to Judgement of the Major Arcana, I decided to do a reading surrounding that card. The card directly before Judgement represents what we must reflect on & forgive, learning the lessons it has to teach us. The card following Judgement in the deck is what awaits us when we do.
The 4 of Cups is the card before Judgement in the deck, the "boredom card" of the Tarot. Not exactly a negative card to receive as what we need to forgive, but this 4 does suggest that we may focus more on what we don't have rather than all that we do. The character in the illustration is no longer interested in what those Cups in front of him have to offer him, but those feelings of boredom are likely keeping him from seeing the opportunities & potential that are still around him. If we've been fixated on feeling bored lately, then this card appearing here suggests that now is the time to face those feelings. What might we be missing out on by only focusing on what we don't have or what doesn't fill us with joy any longer?
Judgement is the next card in the deck showing those feelings of being bored & underwhelmed by life need to be faced, so we can learn from them & move forward to find the success of the World. Those feelings of being bored do have a silver lining to them. It's the strong foundation card of the suit of emotional happiness & fulfillment. Those strong foundations we are part of, even if we don't enjoy them all that much, allow us to feel safe & comfortable. Otherwise we wouldn't have the time to feel bored, would we? These 2 cards side by side make me think we need to appreciate those strong foundations of ours a little more. Dance & have fun even if we don't have everything we want just yet. Even if we have felt bored & uninterested with all that life has to offer doesn't mean the future will be the same!
