I met up with my longtime friend and senpai, Tomonobu Itagaki, for dinner tonight, and for no reason other than to commemorate our longtime friendship I had him re-sign the Dreamcast version of Dead Or Alive 2 on Dreamcast, 21 years after he first signed it at E3 in 2002. I don’t know if that’s the very first thing I had him sign — it’s likely I also had the Saturn version of the original DOA at the time too — but I believe it was from our first meeting. I was working for GMR magazine then, and that’s where our bond first formed.
