These sites are all small (<5 acres) and the Hawaiʻi Ant Lab is working with property owners to treat the infestations.<br />.<br />.<br />Currently, there are only 2 and a half staff for the Hawaiʻi Ant Lab employees to eradicate LFA on Oʻahu. More staffing is needed to ensure these properties can be treated every 6 weeks (for a least a year) and then subsequently monitored for LFA.
